Start preparing for you Boards first, then go for JEE entrance and many then State entrance examinations. And, there after you should go for selecting college. And then, go for choosing your branch. Right now, focus on your class 12th boards.

Hi Muskan, Most of the colleges already completed their entrance exam. As, the CAP round is going on now a days for engineering admission, you can apply for JEE Main. The Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main is the national level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, BITSAT and any other state level entrance examination conducted by particular state. You can apply for entrance exam which will held in 2019 for next year Engineering admission. About colleges, it depends in which state you are in. You can select any college through those entrance exam. Whereas, IIT colleges have their own eligibility criteria, which you have to fulfil. Best of luck.
