When filling out forms for colleges.do i have to fill in my aggregate percentage or the percentage acquired in best 5 subjects?

Some colleges ask for the marks in individual subjects, and also the aggeregate very rarely they ask for only the aggregate.

One of my known has taken admission in lovely professional university and they only required marks of 5 subjects and generally most of the universities do the same- Best five.
