Yes, the course SCJP offered by NIIT is a Sun Certified course. You can definitely go about this course module if you are keen to pursue Java.

well you will get a certificate from NIIT that you have done a "this much" duration course in this domain. once you appear for SCJP, sun microsystems will provide you its certificate.
