    Dear Vishnu,
LPU has a very good placement record. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year.
Being alumni of LPU, I can share the placement records of the CSE programme at LPU with you.
As per their Statistics, 800+ Recruiters have hired LPU students, Rs 42 Lac Highest Salary pa

Not necessarily, one could get placed anywhere across the country as per campus placements and also as per clearing the different rounds of recruitment of certain companies. As per experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU a

Your posting post your placements is subject to which company you are getting placed in and where is the main office. As I can see you are opting B.Tech CSE Hons your placement would be in core IT companies that are majorly in the IT cities of India.
Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
