when is d best time to prepare for GATE? are coaching classes required? what scores are required to get NITs?

go for only 5 subjct. & regarding the coachng classes CAREER LAUNCHER.. is doing great....& score varies year 2 year but 35+ gd 1........

Atleast before 6 months.. my best advice is that if there are 10 topics in ur syllabus(say) be through with at least 6 topics in such a way that even if ur waked up in the night u should be in a position to answers wat ever asked from that particular topic.. and in exam attend only that q related to
