The NIFT entrance exam consists of two levels. First one is the GAT and CAT, which is held in the second week of February every year. Second is the Situation test, which is held after the results of the first level in the month of April/May. The forms are out by end of November and the last date to the fill the form is usually in the month of January.

The written paper is held in the month of February. However, you need to fill the form by December. If you qualify the written exam, you become eligible for the practical exam in the month of April.
