When is the ideal time to apply for MS in USA? I have scored 306 in FRE and have 18 months of work experience.

It depends on which semester, you wish to apply to0. If you wish to join fall semester (August/September), you can apply as early as November of the previous year. For the spring semester (Jan/Feb), you can start applying 7-8 months prior to the commencement of the course. Remember, for some universities, the earlier you apply better will be your chances to get admission.
