If you are graduating in 2017, then you can give 2016 CAT, depends on your passing year. But it is not always necessary to go for CAT right after MBA, you can gain some years of corporate experience and then pursue MBA. Better to give cat in your last year that means nov 2017. And better start preparing for cat from now for better output in cat
