When is UGC NET exam conducted every year? Which are the subjects included in the exam?

    Hello, On behalf of UGC, NTA (National Testing Agency) conducted the UGC NET Exam. This exam is held twice in a year (June and December). There are almost 81 subjects are included for which candidates can apply.
    There is two paper included in UGC NET Paper 1 and paper 2. It is a computer-based test in which no negative marking for a wrong answer or unattempted questions. Time duration is also fixed as 1 hr and 2 hr for paper 1 and paper 2 respectively.

    National Eligibility Test is the platform to select the eligible candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship or lectureship.
    The Exam is held in the month of June & December & conducted for about more than 90 subjects.
