The best time for preparation is during the B.Com course. Because, you can learn more from your graduate and after your B.Com, you can easily to attend the CAT exam. Thus, preparations starts in degree level. It helps to crore more marks in CAT exam.

From the 2nd year of B.Com, you can join a coaching institute in the evening. Also, solve mock tests frequently.

    Good morning dear,
You should start preparing for CAT as the second year of B.Com starts, as It takes almost 7-8 months for a candidate to prepare for CAT if he is parallel doing a degree. Thereafter, 15 days of revision before the exams.
