Dear aspirant, There's no right or wrong time. CAT is held once a year and there's a two-week window for taking the test. So, you may choose it during that window only. The pre-final year is the best time to take these entrance exams. A good score will definitely get you in a good B-School. By any chance you are not able to score good, it will boost your confidence. Again, in the final year, you can improve your score and get into a good B-School.
