When to apply for MBA colleges? I am going to take up MAT exam this December.

I am currently pursuing my 5th semester B.Com and my course gets completed by May-June.

Hello Savitha, MAT takes place 4times an year. With Dec MAT you can start applying to colleges right after your results are out. The MBA batches start between April to June. First, set your college where you want to go and the specialization in which you are interested at. And see which exam they going to take. And prepare for it and clear that.

You can apply in colleges mostly in December to March period throughout India. You need to prepare for exams 3-4 months before the exam. You can get a good college before you even finish your graduation.

You can start from October, since XAT & CAT registration starts from October.

MAT is overall an easy exam, but if you compare the sections, usually the Quantitative Aptitude is considered tougher than rest of the four sections, due to calculation intensive questions.
