When to make the gap certificate after the admission confirmation or before?

I have a year's gap between my studies.

A gap certificate will be required but not necessary at the time of admission. You can make it post admission and submit it later. Keep other documents ready though.

Anything which is done before would be easy than rushing to the last moment. So, It's better to get it before confirmation of admission.

After the admission, you can make the Gap Certificate. At the time of Admission, the Admission Desk will go through your documents and will guide you accordingly.
