Hi, The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected. It has three-step process i.e. Preliminary Exam (Prelims) Main Exam (Mains), and Interview. The eligibility criteria to appear in this exam are: A candidate must be an Indian citizen. The prelims of UPSC exam is conducted in either May or June every year. The mains are conducted in Oct or november in the same year and the interviews are conducted of the chosen candidates in the subsequent month of January. The last date of applying is around mid of march and one can apply online also.
