    Dibrugarh University was established in 1965 in Rajabheta, Dibrugarh, Assam. It is a state-level-public university that provides affiliation to 177 institutes and colleges spread across 9 districts of Assam. The University is UGC-recognised and NAAC accredited with a grade 'B++'. Dibrugarh University does not have branches but institutes and colleges that are affiliated with it and are located within Assam.
