IIIT Bhopal was established in 2017 by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India on not-for-profit Public Private Partnership basis. It is an Institute of National Importance (INI). The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in computer Science, electronics, and mathematics. It also has a research center that focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data Science.
