SIBM Nagpur was established under the Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU), Nagpur which is ranked 38 by NIRF 2021 under the University category. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) or SIU was established in Pune in 1971. The university was granted ‘ Deemed To Be’ status in 2022 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. SIU is awarded under the Category-I status by UGC and has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC and with a score of 3.58 on 4.
