Concentrated sulfuric acid has a very powerful dehydrating property. Concentrated sulfuric acid is a strong oxidizing agent. Sulfur dioxide, water and SO4 2- ions are evolved 2 H2SO4 + 2 e- ? SO2 + 2 H2O + SO4 2- I would here suggest you to go to your chemistry teacher to get the answer and avoid

Sulphuric Acid is hygroscopic, readily absorbing water vapour from the air.
