Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune, primarily accepts GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores for admission into its M.Tech program. Candidates are required to obtain a qualifying score in GATE, which is essential for participation in the Maharashtra Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for M.Tech admissions.

In addition to GATE, the college may consider other entrance exams like MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) for specific programs, though GATE is the most recognised pathway for M.Tech admissions.

Applicants should also have a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree to be eligible for admission.

They offer 8 different UG, PG and Ph.D courses. The college fees is regulated by the Government of Maharashtra. According to the Fee structure of academic year 2024-25, annual fee for UG courses is 1,75,436 INR for open category. This is quite expensive for a year. But for other categories, there is considerable decrement in fees. For example, OBC/ESW/SEBC category has to pay 28,480 INR only annually. For the SC/ST category, its only 6,436 INR. But those who belongs to these categories should bring their total Income certificate below 8,00,000 Lacs per annum.
