So, as far as I know I would like you to focus on your B.Com final year and get complete knowledge about it because base is everything that one requires for further studies. The knowledge you will get in your college is the knowledge that you won't get any where else in life and in career. Talking about prelims you should also give your partial amount of time to it but not by ignoring your final year studies because it is also very important to have a crystal clear base for further process and attaining higher opportunities. Now, talking about how to prepare for prelims you should have to be clear in your mind that which degree you want to pursue further, like if you want to pursue MBA then you should prepare for your CAT and other related exams like SNAP NMAT etc. And if you are done with that you should prepare for your interview and everything. If you want to pursue M.Com then go with PG courses preparation.

Sir, you need to focus on both the exams. You need to manage the college and you also need to prepare for the prelims exam. Your future depends on your hard work and determination towards your goal, but you should not neglect your academics. In B.Com final year you will have projects in which you can score more, and you need to start preparing by reading NCERT books at this point of time. NCERT s are the basic for the prelims and you need to make a habit of reading newspapers (The Hindu). It's never too late to start your preparation. There is no tomorrow, start today.
