The JoSAA 2024 registration is expected to commence on June 10, 2024, as per the tentative schedule. The complete schedule, including registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and online reporting dates, will be available on the official website later. To register, candidates should log in to the JoSAA portal using their JEE Main 2024 roll number and password. They must then fill their choices for courses and institutes, lock their choices, undergo seat allocation, verify their documents, and report to the institute. The JoSAA 2024 registration link will be updated on josaa.nic.in when available.

No, one does not have to apply separately at IIT Madras website after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Shortlisted students who get a seat through the JoSAA counselling, simply need to report for document verification and pay the acceptance fees. All the details of the students will be forwarded to IIT Madras by JoSAA directly. Information about the orientation, fee payment, and hostel allocation will be mailed online.
