When will the admissions start for MA?

<p>MA Admission 2023 is held online based on merit or an entrance exam. Universities conduct an entrance exam and then release a merit list. Some universities also conduct a GD/PI round to offer admission to the MA courses. BHU MA Admission was ongoing from June 07 &ndash; 26, 2023. Candidates can also apply for Distance MA Admission at IGNOU, for the July Session till July 31, 2023.</p><p>The admission process for MA courses is usually done through an entrance exam in almost all the top colleges and central universities. Top Entrance Exams for MA admission include&nbsp;CUET&nbsp;PG, IPU CET, BHU PET, &nbsp;JNUEE, &nbsp;etc. IGNOU offers a&nbsp;Distance MA&nbsp;course that candidates can complete within 2 to 5 years. Few colleges grant direct MA admission based on marks secured in graduation. JNU&nbsp;and&nbsp;DU MA Admission 2023&nbsp;will be done on the basis of the CUET PG scores and has begun on July 27, 2023. The last date to apply is August 10, 2023.</p><p>Master of Arts (MA) is a 2-year postgraduate course focusing on theoretical knowledge of arts. The eligibility criteria for pursuing MA is that students must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in bachelor&rsquo;s degree from a recognised university. There is a 5% relaxation provided to reserved category candidates. Subjects taught in the&nbsp;MA Course&nbsp;are different for every specialization. Some of the specializations are English, Hindi, History, Sociology, Education, Fine Arts, Gender Studies, and more.&nbsp;</p>
