Hi, Keerthana, It is a very dynamic stream in which students can make there prospective career very bright. *Scope* of *ECE* is increasing every day as technology is developing rapidly. *ECE*students can develop an exciting career in industries like consumer electronics manufacturing organisation, Telecommunication & IT industries, Health care equipment manufacturing, Mobile communication (2G,3G,4G), Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical. An *electronics*and communication *engineer* candidate can get job opportunities in electricity plant, avionics and aviation, consumer *electronics*, manufacturing, communication & telecommunication, radio & television, transportation, computer application, diagnostic equipment manufacturing and offshore organizations. But, What is most important is opt an efficient Institution. At LPU an Electronic and Communication Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic sciences to technology with relevant practice through labs and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like Signal Processing, Communication systems, VLSI Design, Embedded systems and Robotics etc. To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry. In LPU, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) to get admission is that candidate must be Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. Extrance exam will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). There are various Salient Features at LPU:
