Hi, As we all know there is a lockdown underway all over the country due to the Covid-19 outbreak. As of now the UGC has issued the guidelines to start the new batches on 01-09-2020. However it is still a long way to go, if the situation gets better the decision may be changed too.
All the universities will have to abide by the law of the land for opening. LPU being the top and most reputed private university in the country has not only helped in large umber of community development projects for fighting Covid 19, it will also abide by the rules and regulations, So as on date the UGC guideline stands, but it is likely to be preponed

Responding to your particular query, I personally feel that colleges will resume after the guidelines and regulations provided by Central Government/ State Government and then regular teaching will also be resumed. The up-to-date information will be shared by the University through mails and messages. Otherwise you could also remain up-to-date with the website as all details are mentioned there.

LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every one of the eligible students to secure good placement. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from the first year onward, it may be soft-skills, GD, presentations, extempores, technical interviews and personal interviews. To make students get placed in their dream companies. Placements and internships opportunities offered by the university placement department (Division of Career Services, DCS) ensure that students get hands-on experience in working in the industry.

1. The dates for completing admission formalities like verification, ID Card, etc. and reporting for residential facility. -
Schedule 1: 23rd and 24th July 2019
Schedule 2: 24th and 25th July 2019
2. The dates of Schedule of Induction are –
Schedule 1: 25th, 26th, and 27th July 2019
Schedule 2: 26th, 27th, and 29th July 2019
3. The date of the start of classes is on 30th July 2019
