Applications are released usually in the month of May and are available for a period of one month thereafter. The entrance examination is held soon after, with admit cards being released online after applications are scrutinized to check for eligibility. The selection process consists of admission counseling for those candidates that are shortlisted on the basis of performance in the entrance examination, which is conducted annually by the university. There may be multiple rounds of this counseling.
