When will the registration process start for TANCET 2018? What is the last date for that?

TANCET exam registration is facilitated to apply for entrance exam conudcted for MBA and MCA courses in Tamil Nadu. Anna University is entrusted to facilitate the TANCET examination process, including the registration process, admit card issuance process, and result declaration process. The centralised counselling for TN MBA MCA admission is done by DTE Tamil Nadu.

Putting in an application for MBA and MCA at Sri Venkateswara College of Computer Applications and Management means having to clear the TANCET. Selection of candidates is done by strictly sticking to the TANCET merit lists. Those without a valid TANCET score will not be able to apply for these postgraduate programs. Because of the entrance exam, candidates are all evaluated in the same way.

The NIMS - Nehru Institute of Management Studies accepts TANCET results for admission to its PGDM programme. According to the NIMS - Nehru Institute of Management Studies cutoffs for 2024, the TANCET cutoff percentile for applicants in the General All India category was less than 90. According to the cutoff pattern from previous years, an applicant can therefore be admitted to Nehru College of Management with a 90 percentile. 

TANCET cutoff at SRM School of Management is not decided in advance. A score that falls above the 50–60 percentile level usually gives a good chance of admission to an MBA program. How well someone performs in counselling and during the personal interview is also taken into account during final selection. The pricing may not be the same in every category or for different rows.
