The process for SMIT online test counseling involves the following key steps. After declaration of results of the SMIT online test, shortlisted candidates are called for counseling. For counseling, they have to register on the website and upload mark sheets and certificates for verification. On counseling day, candidates are provided with a choice for a course and seat according to availability and rank. Once a seat is allocated, they endorse the admission by paying the prescribed fees within the deadline.

Once the SMIT online test result is announced, the counselling dates will be declared. The authorities will conduct a separate SMIT 2025 counselling process for SMIT qualified, JEE Main qualified or MET qualified candidates. For the counselling process, the candidates will have to register and provide the required details.
