  • The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC prelims result 2023 on June 12 mentioning the names and the roll number of 14,652 candidates. The Commission conducted the UPSC Civil Service (IAS) prelims exam on May 28 and the Commission released the result in 15 days from the exam. The UPSC main exam 2023 will be conducted from September 15.

A group of candidates filed a petition in the Central Administrativer Tribunal regarding the reduction of the IAS Prelims General Studies Paper 2 from 33 percent to 23 percent because it asked difficult questions which were contrary to the syllabus.
