When will TNPSC Group 2 admit card be released?

There is no negative marking in the TNPSC Group 2 exam for the incorrect answers. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission deduct the marks on providing the incorrect information as per the following points.

• In case of non-personalised OMR answer sheet, two marks will be deducted for writing the register number incorrectly.
• In case number of [As], [Bs], [Cs], [Ds] and [Es] count wrongly mentioned / not shaded / incorrectly shaded by the candidate in the Part – II of the OMR Answer Sheet, two marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
• None of the answer bubbles is shaded for even one question by the candidate, two marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
• In case of absence of Candidates left thumb impression in answered portion of the OMR answer sheet, two marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidate.
• If the Question Booklet Number is not written or partially written in the space provided, five marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidates.

  • The General Studies section includes topics like History, Geography, Economics, Polity, Science, Current Affairs, etc.
  • The Aptitude and Mental Ability section includes questions on numerical ability, reasoning, and logical thinking.
  • The General Tamil or General English section is to assess the candidate's proficiency in either Tamil or English (the candidate can choose either Tamil or English for this section).
