When will UID Ahmedabad conduct UID DAT exam for BDes courses?

UID DAT Format must be submitted in the following format.

• Format: PDF
• Size: Up to 15 MB
• Slides/Pages: 10 to 15
• Submissions Deadline: 24 Hours before interview time

UID DAT Situation Test will test  Concept Development, Design Thinking and Material Manipulation. Candidates will be required to imagine and create a 3D composition as per the dimensions given using the material provided in the kit.

UID DAT Situation Test will test:

• Creative Thought process, Critical & Lateral thinking
• Imagination, Ideation & Innovation;
• Material & Situation handling ability;
• Conceptual thinking / Concept generation;
• Observation Skills;
• Logical Reasoning / Interpretation;
• Time Management;
•  Understanding of Form –

UID DAT Exam will have two Tier: Tier I and Tier II.

UID DAT exam was conducted on January 11, 2026. It was from 1 PM to 4 PM. All candidates who appear for Tier I - will be eligible to appear for Tier II - Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PE).
