Where are Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research alumni working?

<p>First, graduates from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) have filled prestigious posts throughout the medical and healthcare industry, both nationally and internationally. The broad areas were as follows :-<br>1. Hospitals and Healthcare Institutions: Most of the alumni are employed in government hospitals like All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Sadar Hospital, and RML Hospital, amongst other noted hospitals. <br><br>2. Medical Research :- Alumni work in medical research at organizations such as Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and several other universities and research centers.<br>3. Medical Education :- Some graduates have taken up assignments as professor, lecturer, and research faculty in medical colleges and universities, such as IPGMER, and other prestigious institutions, including Kolkata Medical College and National Medical College.<br>4. Public Health: Some of them have turned to public health and are working for global and national health initiatives, organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, and the Health Ministries.<br>5. Private Practice :- A number of alumnus started their own private clinical practices, specializing in different fields: surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedic, etc.<br>6. Government Services :- Some alumni have taken up government services in health departments or have become medical officers in various government schemes.<br>7. International Healthcare :- Some of the alumni have gone outside their country to work in hospitals and other healthcare facilities in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.</p>
