Where are the better job opportunities after MBA for a merchant navy officer, in India or abroad?
Xth: 85% XIIth: 65% B.Sc. Nautical science (IGNOU 78%). Work experience: 2.5 years as a navigating officer in the shipping department of a prominent oil/gas company. But, I am not aware about the job opportunities post-MBA. Goals: Widen career opportunities, self development.

This actually, the MBA officers would want to know from you, hence you must know your own post MBA career goals. India has a huge scope in your field as far as I know. You can plan to pursue your MBA in a foreign country and then decide to work in any country. Make a career plan. My personal suggestion would be Singapore as it has wide career opportunities for your field of work. National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University are some options you can check for MBA. On the basis of your grades you do stand a good chance.
