Kazi Nazrul University admits students in their B.Tech course on the basis of the WBJEE rank of the candidate. Kazi Nazrul University offers three branches in B.Tech programme : B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech. in Mining Engineering, and B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. The cutoff rank for each of them varies every year and is also different for different categories. Even the admissions to the MCA course is also done on the basis of the candidate's performance on WBJEE JECA entrance exam.
