Where can I do Engineering outside of IITs, My JEE Mains percentile is 81. I don't want to go into newer IITs.

In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Hi, Outside of IITs there are few very good universities like LPU, DTU, Thapar and PEC in northern part of India. With your score in JEE Mains I don't SEE chances in PEC and DTU. You can do from any out of Thapar or LPU. I would recommend LPU as it is now the leader I education pan India. LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Hi, You have a very good vision that you do not want to go to any younger IIT's. There are many good Institutes in India that are equally good as IIT's and even better than few newer or younger IIT's. There are many good institutes in Northern India in which you can do comparison: 1) Thapper Institute. 2) PEC. 3) DTU. 4) GNDEC. 5) LPU According to my best knowledge, no other college/University can be incorporated for comparison in this list if you really want to get Good Institute in Northern India. These mentioned Institutes are equally good and not less than IIT's.

The scholarship slabs offer a hassle education. The recent covid scholarship is another initiative of LPU to aid education in such grim covid times. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon. Lovely Professional University, has become the landing place of many leading industries for recruitment. LPU has many top rankings in placements.
