Where can I find the MPBSE class 12 syllabus?

Students can download it from the official MPBSE website at mpbse.nic.in, under the Model Paper section. Once the 2026-27 sample paper is out, this article will get the new link.

Students need at least 33 percent marks in the subject to pass, as per MPBSE rules. This applies to the full theory paper for English.

The syllabus covers First Flight for prose and poetry, along with the extra reader Footprints without Feet. Both books form the base for Section D questions.

The sample paper has 16 questions across four sections. Section D, based on the textbooks, has the most marks at 39. Section B (Writing) comes next at 16 marks.

The MP Board 10th English exam is for 75 marks in total. The paper covers all four sections, Reading, Writing, Grammar, and Textbooks, in 3 hours.
