Where can I pursue an M.Tech Biomedical Engineering program in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry?

<p>There are numerous reputable colleges offering M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering at Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Some notable ones are SRM Institute of Science and Technology at Kattankulathur. The M.Tech course there is for 2 years with a total fee of about INR 1,60,000 per year. For eligibility, it requires the four-year degree in BTech in Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Anna University, Chennai also offers an ME in Biomedical Engineering with strong academic credentials and decent placement records. Similar programmes offered are available at SSN College of Engineering in Chennai. VIT University at Vellore offers some strong engineering programmes with solid placement support. Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore has an M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, involving both the practical and theoretical aspects.
