Where does engineering physics stand compared to electrical engineering in terms of curriculum, placements,salary and scope at IITD?

My rank is 2028. I wanted to take up electrical engineering at IITD , but due to low rank, I will not get that branch.

See, EP is a branch intended for those students with an inclination for physics and who plan to pursue it further by going for higher studies. B.Tech in EP has no value when it comes to core job opportunities right after college because there aren't any core jobs for EP undergraduates. Among all IIT

I think you should contact any EP guy from IIT-Delhi. He will tell you the right insights of EP and its elective courses.
