    If you mean Mahatama Gandhi University, then as per its official website it is recognized By University Grants Commision(UGC) and reccognized by distance education (DEC) and Tripartite Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC.
    As per the official website of Punjab Technical University PTU is recognized under section 2(f) of UGC act and offers programs only as per nomenclature defined by UGC all degrees awarded by PTU recognized by University Grant Commission.
    As per the official website of SMU:
    - Sikkim Manipal University Directorate of Distance Education is recognised by
    - University Grants Commission(UGC)
    - Ministry of HRD
    - Member of Association of
