Whether admission to UG courses offered by the Central Universities will depend only on the CUET (UG)?

No, as per the circular issued by UGC, around nine universities are exempt from participating in the CUET (UG) exam. The CUET UG exam is being conducted by the NTA for admission to undergraduate courses at 44 participating central universities. However, CUET is not the sole criteria for admission to these universities. Some universities also offer admission based on other criteria, such as a sports quota. Central Universities Entrance Test also known as CUET is a national-level exam for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes courses. This year, 54 colleges and universities will participate in CUET 2022 to offer admission in their various courses.
