It is a combination of both which gets you selected but low graduation mark will definitely get you rejected inspite of having good GRE score. For example, 60% marks in graduation will not be accepted by top universities of USA, UK, Singapore. Usually a GPA of minimum 3/4 is the requirement for graduation which roughly translate into 75% marks. Now once you cross that threshold, GRE marks are considered to make the merit list. So, you will see that there is no weightage.

    Hi,
Please remember you need need to have good marks in graduation as well as high scores in GRE and TOEFL or IELTS test to get admission in good US university to pursue MS program.
So both sections (graduation and tests) have almost equal weighatge, however as a student you should always aim to get high scores in GRE so that in case you have a bit low marks in graduation it can substantiate for that.
Regarding preparation of this test, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for GRE.
These institute offers regular and weekend classes, plus they conduct mock test on regular basis.
