Whether lamination of mark lists and certificates is permitted?

A good advice would be not to laminate any of the property papers or important educational documents (US Visa consulate donot accept laminated papers for verficiation). You may put certificates in a plastic pouch and preserve. Even for passports and for housing loan from a bank, some authorities

I don't know of any rule forbidding it.So,many students are getting their records laminated.It is a common feature everywhere.
