    Hi,
    If you mean Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar then as per its official website:
    - PTU is a state government University established by Govt. of Punjab by a state legislative Act.
    - PTU is recognized under section 2(f) of UGC act and offers programs only as per nomenclature defined by UGC.
    - All degrees awarded by PTU recognized by University Grant Commission.
    - All regular colleges of PTU are approved by AICTE.
    - PTU is a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities)
    In order to get detailed information regarding its accreditation it would be always advisable to browse through its official website.
