Dear Sonia,
UGC is not responsible for International recognition... they can only regulate Universities in India.... Cardiff University is a good university as well.... If you can let me know about your academic background then I may offer you better ranking universities.... there are universities

UGC cannot recogniose a foreign university. Why you need ugc recognition when you have a global recognition

Hi Sonia, UGC recognises courses offered by Indian Universities and Colleges. In the UK it is the Dfes which recognises courses in UK. And yes Cardiff Universities all courses are recognised by Dfes.
The other recognition one should look for is the registration of name in UKBA register. and Cardiff
