which among mechanical engineering or IT has good scope in india

Both of these branches have good scope in India. The number of jobs for IT are greater in private sector now a days but mechanical leads in govt sector. However IT people can also work in banks by taking bank exams. If done from a good college both of them will grant good placements. Plese see your interest in making this decision. If you like data management, coding, and computers, go for IT. If you like studying and designing machines, go for mechanical.
