The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting. 2. LPU has all the necessary accreditation. LPU has been ranked among Top 100 Best universities by NIRF. First private university/college in India to be get the ICAR accreditation. Ranked as the Best Education Brand of India by The Economic Time (ET) Considered among top-ten for placements by Business & Management Chronicle Ranked as the top university in India by ASSOCHAM 3. The faculty is not only experienced but is updated with the latest leanings by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. 3. Hi there, DIT is a good university. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to tell you about the strengths of the LPU: The campus of 600+ acres - That's really not an interest to a student. Whatll she/he be doing of such a vast area. You'll only be having a particular block for your academics. Eight hostels for boys and Six for girls - Your gonna need a place to stay so hopefully there's more than enough space to accommodate you. That's a plus point. Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in a hostel. Then you'll have to mark your attendance daily in the hostel to the floor warden and be in the hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winter's timing and in summers up to 07:30 probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for an explanation and maybe a call to your parents. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but Im sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PGs near the University. Now decide whats best for you. But you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to the library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied by a guard from your hostel to the library. More than 200 courses are offered to range from Diploma to PG - You are probably going to find the best course for you among these. That's for sure. Another plus point. Mandatory 75% aggregate attendance - You'll need to maintain a baseline of 75% aggregate attendance in order to be eligible to give exams. That's harsh and they won't accept any medical leaves or anything. Literally nothing they are gonna accept from you. If you fall below 75% you are not gonna be eligible for final exams until you possess a good percentage in the last term. In that case, theyll provide you with some grace. That's a good point. Also, they have mark criteria for attendance. As your attendance increase or decrease, you'll have marks ranging from 2-to 5. That's for you to decide whether its a plus point for you or not. Placement - Yes. Students do get placed from the university and a lot of drives are conducted from various companies. No doubt most of the drives are CSE/IT-based. Companies with decent packages come in. You'll have to compete with everyone to grab the opportunity but itll be worth it. Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports, or Academic. There are numerous events held on the University campus itself.
