There are some universities out there offering distance engineering courses, but I suggest enquiring about their credibility beforehand. I think the courses that require a lot of practical training will have some arrangements where students converge for practical classes. Details will vary from university to university and I would advise you to download a brochure of your intended institute and read it carefully.
