Hello Varun, Aeronautical engineering is an upcoming specialisation in the field of mechanical. It is a sub branch of Aerospace Engineering along with Astronautical Engineering. Aeronautical Engineering specialises in aircraft, missiles and helicopters. A lot of companies hire aeronautical engineers for the construction of aircraft, for efficiency testing, flight testing etc, for the design purposes, for the maintenance, functioning & manufacturing of aircraft, for investigation of crashes, impact on environment etc, as air traffic controllers. Some good institutions like IIAE, Lovely Professional University, Chitkara, Sharda, etc. offer are offering the course.
