Which are the best colleges for Air Navigation Services in India and what makes them stand out?

Almost all of the airports in India come under the authority of the AAI or Airports Authority of India, making them handle all the related Air Traffic Control Towers and in turn, also handle the Air Navigation Services for them. There may be a few colleges offering courses for Air Navigation Services, but as AAI themselves handle the ANS, it is better to join an institute run by them as that would also ensure better employment chances. The AAI runs this course at CATC or Civil Aviation Training College based out of Allahabad. They are the pioneer institute in India and have been imparting training ince 1948. They are specialized in the training of CNS technology and Air Traffic Management. They not only train Indian sudents, but even students from neighbouring countries in both Asia and Africa come down to CATC for their courses. They usually train about 650 students in a year and that alone is a great feat. Another noteworthy institute that undertakes training for Air Navigation Services would be any IATA recognized institute but there is a better scope if one chooses the AAI run CATC over other colleges.

Hello, Air Navigation Services are fundamentally provided by Air Traffic Control. This could be subdivided into aerodrome control and area control. In addition, this is part of the airport. In India, almost 90%+ aerodromes are controlled by Airports Authority of India. What this means is that even if some agency establishes a college of air navigation, where will the passing out students get employment? Hence in India, even if somebody establishes this college, who will get employed? By whom? In India, the college run by AAI in Allahabad was established in 1948 and is functioning there but now it has two branches. On the other hand, IAF has it's own training establishment in Hyderabad. As can be seen from above, there appears to be actually no choice except to get admission courses.
