    Hi, Jewellery is the very close topic for the women in India. India is the largest consumer of gold and hence India imports a lot of gold every year. Jewellery Designing is a blend of creativity and imagination of a person. The person who have a good sense of design and creative imagination along with sound technical knowledge for them Jewellery designing is the right career option.

    Jewellery Design as a career profile requires one to possess designer's creative skills. However, in order to be a good jewellery designer one also need to have essential skills such as precision of a skilled artisan along with adequate knowledge of different metals and precious stones/gems. Earlier, jewellery design was a skill which was passed on from one generation to another and so it was a closely guarded profession wherein one couldn't easily enter.
