I assume that by biotechnology engineering, you are referring to B.Tech in Biotechnology. I suppose the best colleges for biotechnology are IITs including IIT Delhi, IIT Mumbai, IIT Madras IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati and NITs including NIT Warangal, NIT Durgapur and NIT Raipur. Other government colleges which are best suited for pursuing B.Tech Biotechnology is Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology(NSIT). There are very good private colleges also in terms of very good placements, faculty and infrastructure which include Thapar University Patiala, Shoolini University Solan (the only biotechnology School in India), SRM University, VIT University, Jaypee University (Solan and Noida), Amity University, Manipal University etc.
